Herb extracts

Arnica is known to have anti microbial and anti inflammatory properties. Arnica extracts can help relieve and treat; muscle aches, spasms, sprains, pulled muscles, bruises and DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness). “A 2007 study found that a homeopathic arnica solution has a positive effect on muscle soreness after marathon running.”

Comfrey (knit bone) is used topically on the skin for the treatment of sprains, pulled muscles or ligaments ,fractures, strains, and it can reduce inflammation from broken bones. This herb contains allantoin which is a substance that aids in the growth of new skin cells, while continuing to reduce inflation to keep the skin healthy.

Calendula is used topically and is known to treat bruises, cuts, burns and other abrasions to the skin. Calendula can help heal your skin because it increases the blood flow and oxygen levels to the infected area, which can help grow new tissue. It can also increase firmness and hydration in the skin. It can also help heal the wounds faster.

St. John’s Wort when used topically can help treat wounds, eczema, minor burns and other small skin abrasions. It can also help relieve symptoms associated with wounds and minor skin irritations. This her has antibacterial properties and it can help fight inflammation.

Essential oils

Sweet Marjoram oil is an analgesic (pain killer), antispasmodic (suppresses muscle spams) and and antiseptic (reduces chance of infection). When applied topically, this oil is known to relieve pain due to pulled muscle, muscle spasms, strains, and joint pain.

Rosemary essential oil has antimicrobial and antiseptic qualities. When applied topically it can relieve and reduce eczema, dermatitis, oily skin and acne. Rosemary oil can give your skin a healthy glow, while toning and reducing dryness.

Arborvitae essential oil is extremely soothing for the skin. It also has anti inflammatory, antiviral and cellular protective properties. Topically this oil can reduce dark spots, and relieve eczema and dermatitis.
