Description

Our Deodorant are not an anti-perspirant. It will not stop the body’s natural sweat generating process because it does not contain aluminum. Antiperspirants are made with chemicals that block and clog the pours, which blocks the secretion of the sweat glands. Body odor happens as a result of the body ridding itself of toxins, which is bacteria breaking down protein into certain acids. Our deodorant makes the skin more acidic, making it difficult for bacteria to thrive. A couple of tips to augment the effectiveness of our deodorant: 1) Keep the armpits clean by washing them regularly keeping the bacteria count low, resulting in less body odor. 2) Armpits with hair slow down the evaporation of sweat giving the bacteria more time to break it down into smelly stuff. Shaving the armpits regularly has been found to help control body odor control in that area.

Vermont Organic Beeswax:
Beeswax is a natural wax that is produced by honeybees and it is used in deodorants as a thickening agent to hold the other ingredients together. Additionally, beeswax has antibacterial properties that can help to prevent the growth of bacteria, which is one of the main causes of body odor.
